Rooted in the rich musical heritage of Jackson, Mississippi, Chester’s guitar journey began at just eight years old. His first instrument, purchased by his mother using grocery store trading stamps, ignited his lifelong passion for music. By the age of sixteen, he was already honing his craft, performing in the jazz, blues, and R&B clubs of his hometown, where his unique style began to take shape.

Chester’s pursuit of musical excellence led him to the prestigious Berklee College of Music in Boston, where he expanded his artistic vision. This was followed by earning a Bachelor of Music with a classical guitar emphasis from the University of Southern Mississippi, solidifying his foundation in music theory and performance.

Now based in Denver, Chester has established himself as a prolific artist, songwriter, and performer. With four albums—Schizophrenia of Love, Pearl, and two EPs, Let’s Drive and Open The Door—released under the BRM label in London, his music reflects a blend of past influences and ever-evolving creativity. Through each note, Chester continues to bring his distinctive sound to the world, blending his roots with his vision for the future.
